Sing Me a Story
Our annual Valentine’s dinner concert was a delicious success! Next up, for our season finale, we celebrate storytelling and all things literary with Sing Me a Story 4:00 p.m., Sunday, April 15 at Cornerstone Center for the Arts. The Chorale will be joined by special guest storyteller, author, and musician, Stuart Stotts. Stuart is a Kennedy Center teaching artist and a frequent presenter at educational events. As with all of Masterworks Chorale’s events, admission for children and students is always free!
Cornerstone Center for the Arts will host Mr. Stotts in a small workshop for middle school-aged children and their families at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 14.
Space is limited for the workshop, so click here to find out more or register.

In 1978, a group of local musicians active in Muncie Matinee Musicale had dreams of a new performing group in Muncie. An ensemble called the East Central Indiana Community Singers was formed in response to this dream. In 1986, this group changed its name to Masterworks Chorale to help reflect their serious artistic intent.
Currently, Masterworks Chorale is based at Cornerstone Center for the Arts. Our annual concert series plays out in venues all around Muncie, in schools, churches and concert halls. Outreach concerts take us to unusual locations and allow us to collaborate with other partners in our community, including Muncie Symphony Orchestra and Ball State University Choirs. Members of the Chorale have represented East Central Indiana by performing at Carnegie Hall on two occasions.
